HOYU innovation center with a Taiwan graphene manufacture, UC Bacon, has co-developed a whole new technology on light blocking and heat insulation, named FLIB (Full range on Light Blocking).
This technology could lead to a perfect orientation of graphene during the membrane production, not only could absorb over 90% UV light in the thickness of 20μm but could block over 99.99% of visible light.
Using this membrane, HOYU has developed lightweight and light blocking fabric. The fabric more than 15% lighter than commercial products and is suitable for car roller blinds, light blocking parasol, canvas awning, or other light blocking application.
HOYU and UC Bacon discovered the self-lubricity of graphene/ could lower the coefficient of friction/ of the coating/ and improve their anti-abrasion. Based on this concept, we provide a graphene anti-abrasion membrane named “G-COLOR”,
Through this technology, graphene could disperse homogeneously at the surface of the membrane/, and also enhance the abrasion resistance of the laminated fabric. In addition, the unique color tone from graphene, we call " graphene Morandi tone". Using this G-COLOR technology, this membrane is suitable for urbane casual, outdoor or women’s bags.
