| HO YU’s coating process has been certified by bluesign in manufacturing on bluesign approved fabrics as well as relevant products. Along with coating certificate, the renewed certificate on Woven fabrics has issued in July, 2017.
HO YU has joined bluesign and became a System Partner member since year 2007 and keep improving our manufacturing, chemical management, product safety, and environmental impact. We thanks to bluesign’s technical assistance and support to bring HO YU completed this awesome work eventually. Although we have initially received certificate on piece-dyed Woven fabric from year 2009, the most challenge is to get certificate on Coating process and products.
In order to meet criteria, we have set up solvent emission recalling system, water based emission scrubbing down system, and chemical management system. Furthermore, the entire HO YU team is well trained and got approvals by Taiwan EPA before applying bluesign certificate on Coatings. However, the on-site audit from bluesign in chemical administration and manufacturing management was another enormous task.
The Coatings certificate included Solvent based Silicone, Solvent based PU, Solvent based Acrylic, Water based Acrylic, and also the combinations. Nevertheless to say, we are still on the track for more types of finishing, coating, and lamination.
Here, we are pleased to announce that we are textile manufacturer and have grown to provide integrated process with weaving, dyeing, and all the way to coatings in-house. Our finished articles are bluesign approved fabrics.
